Before you schedule your IELTS test, there are several important requirements you need to meet:
1. Valid Passport: Your passport is the mandatory ID for booking the IELTS test and must be valid at the time of booking. Please note that expired passports will not be accepted, and you will be unable to schedule your test without a valid passport.
2. Selecting the Appropriate IELTS Test: Depending on your needs—whether for education, immigration, or professional registration—you will need to choose the appropriate version of the IELTS test. The available options are IELTS Academic, IELTS General Training, IELTS UKVI, and IELTS Life Skills.
3. Choosing Your Test Date: Selecting your test date is crucial and should be aligned with your academic or visa application timelines. Make sure that the chosen date suits your schedule, as failing to attend the test will result in losing the fee or incurring deductions on a refund.

If you need to cancel or postpone your IELTS test, please reach out to the test center where you made your booking.
- More than 5 Weeks in Advance: If you cancel or postpone your test more than five weeks before the scheduled test date, you are eligible for a refund, minus an administrative fee.
- Within 5 Weeks of the Test Date: Should you need to cancel or postpone within five weeks of your test date, the full fee will be charged, except in cases of serious medical reasons.
- Medical Exceptions: If you provide a medical certificate within five days following your test date, you will receive a refund, deducting only the local administrative cost.
